Livre du jour

Today's find on a street corner in downtown Port Townsend. Brodard et Taupin 1958. Price: Free.

Book Finds

Here's a couple of books I found today at the Medford Library Bookstore--$1.00 each.

Published 1927

Published 1907

These books I got a couple of weeks ago in Winston on the way home from the coast. Both books came to $1.50...

You can see that there is severe water damage
so no worries about cutting this one up (also several
pages have a child's pencil scribbles all over them).
The premise of the book is explaining
physiology to children using the house as metaphor.
A very cool concept. The publish date is1900.

Nice illustrations inside including some anatomical drawings.

This is an American book introducing
students to French history and culture.
Written entirely in French. Published 1934.
